Silver Daddies and their Twinks

I believe Cher had it right when she sang the famous song, “It’s In His Kiss”. Many young men today are making the once taboo practice of dating older men the main stream societal norm. Many young men may still be trying to find themselves. Today’s young men have fragmented self-esteem and self-image.
When today’s young men gain the courage to date, they step into a mine field with those who are confused, curious, and angry at the world. It seems like there are less and less people out there who are totally being themselves, instead they are portraying an image. This is why so many relationships fail, some people don't fail to recognize the man in the mirror; rather they are pursuing the mask.
It has been said that when a couple are initially dating, they are on their best behavior. It seems normal then, that the older man; who is dintguished, handsome, intelligent, secure in both body and self image, would seem like a beacon of light for the hurt, and heartbroken young man seeking respite from a world that was crueler to him than he ever imagined.

Many young men see older men as strong men, who will take care of them. The sad thing is many young men if they just looked deep within themselves would realize that they can do these things all by themselves. So instead of the older man becoming an asset in their life, in many ways they can become a crutch, stunting the emotional and physical growth as well as the maturity of the young man.
There is nothing wrong with dating older men, however one must realize compromise will be the rule of the game.

"Many young men today are making the once taboo practice of dating older men the main stream societal norm"..ummm when was this ever taboo? i think people can date who they want.
while i agree SOME men date older men as a sense of security. They majority of youths these days are just into 'daddies"...*kanye shrug*
Hooray for younger guys into daddies! I'm 63, and find guys between 30 and 45 most attractive.
I'm an older guy myself and i like younger guys. Doesn't mean im lookign for someone "weaker" than i am. It's just what i like really.
