Bet some of yall thought the percentage of gay men engaging in anal intercourse would outweigh women huh?...Think again.

The NYC's Health Department issued a press release a couple of months ago stating that more than 100,000 women engage in analsex, and the majority of them are doing it without protection.

Only 23 percent of women use condoms, compared to 61 percent of gay men.

“Tens of thousands of New Yorkers are engaging in risky behavior. Many people are aware of the risks of HIV when men sleep with other men, but a large number of women also are putting themselves at high risk," said Health Commissioner Dr. Thomas Farley. "For both men and women, the overall message is clear: Never engage in unprotected analsex."
