    Where did you get the idea that pornstars were paid well? Maybe they were at one time but not anymore. When a performer claimed to have made $40,000 in one year, Chi Chi LaRue said simple that he was lying, no performers make that kind on money in porn anymore.

    Most gay porn stars get paid between $300 and $700 per scene. Straight porn pays less, sometimes as little as $50 for the male. Tyler Torro is a "gay scene exclusive" which means he can only shoot gay porn for Next Door but is free to shoot straight scenes with other companies. Since Tyler only tops and gets serviced with no kissing, or oral from him with the guys then he isn't used by Next Door every month. So he might film 4 scenes for Next Door one month and get a little over $2000 but get no scenes the next month. He has on occasion worked a P.A.

    Also Tyler Torro in no way identifies as "Bi". He has sex with men for money on camera, only. So you should change the title to Tyler Torro " Confessions of a Gay for Pay Porn Star".

    No that is the industry standard now. Only sites like Randy Blue, Corbin Fisher, and Sean Cody pay more per scene but only if you sign an exclusive one year contact which doesn't guarantee that you get to shoot more than one or two scenes – even then it is only like $1000-for a solo, $1500 for oral, and then $2000-2500 for topping/bottoming. That might seem like a good rate but if you can only shoot with them and they only book you 3 or 4 times in a year (but it is usually less than that) then that is less than $10,000. Take for instance, Jonah on Sean Cody(who is now Brady Jensen on Cocksure), he could only film with SC for a year and was so popular that they booked him more than most but even so he only shot 8 scenes – one solo, one bottoming, and the rest topping.

    That's why performers are eager for club performances and escorting work because that is where they make their real money.

      i know one guy who’s in the military and did gay porn in seancody, he got paid 3,000 per scene since he is really in demand..

    It isn't just ED pills and straight fluffing material any longer. Alot of these guys use injectible drugs to produce and keep an erection. Conner Habib recently wrote a story about working with Girth Brooks and Berke Banks where he discussed it.

    Even more disturbing that the straight guys would for such a low rate of pay they would stick a needle in their dick is that a gay man would willing bottom for someone who they know is so repulsed by the act they can't do it without the aid of drugs. That isn't just to get the erection either most of the Gay4payers, including Torro, smoke pot, and some use meth or ecstacy, during filming. All the Next Door guys are huge pot smokers and like to film that way plus they always have ED pills available on set.
