The Belgian twink announced Saturday via facebook that he had been attacked outside a club in Amsterdam the night before. Sunday morning he published a picture (above right) of his face after the attack and commented the perpetrators had spent the night in a cell. By midday Dutch website Gay.nl published a note, apparently tipped by Delvaux himself, on the incident, which included a copy of the police statement.
 
The exact details about the fight and what led to it are unclear, but it seems it was an argument caused by jealousy and fueled by alcohol. Philippe says he knew one of the men, whose name happens to be Philip, through Facebook for only a week; the other one, named Andre, was a friend of Philip he didn’t know.
